The project I was given for 2020-2021 Grow Collection is "Paris" + "Journey", the follow up quest from the last year Growbabies' "Bearboo in Paris collection" so I changed the narrative of the design motif to storytelling, which is kind of my favorite working style.

By changing the whole full fabric width into 1 motif and placing each part into each bedding items separately, and when they are placed into 1 bed/crib, beside each other, in will create not too much repeat yet tell the viewer something about a piece of my mind that tell you about "Journey in Paris".

And by combining the whole Growbabies' Characters into the scene, giving them some roles to play, creating some movements and actions, let them be a part of a big scene in baby nursery that will give a baby, an opportunity to develop imagination.

Also, in hope, this design of mine will provide them some enjoyable moment when parents are still occupied by something.

As you can see, all characters in this Growbabies' nursery collection, are recreated in black & white, line drawing, rough brush style, is, because I what to pave a way for these Grow character fellows.
So I was thinking, I just want to create a way to get baby's attention to focus on Grow's characters,
even I little is also find.

So I create them in black & white almost like clean sketch, to keep it simple to eyes & to mind as possible, using rough brush to get them a line not too refine, to make them pop-out from other surrounding in the scene that was created by sharp & clean line with complex layers of sketching. Then combining with natural movement, given them some dynamic with variety of actions in the scene, that makes them so much alive in some way. (Certainly, in my eyes)

Well, all of these, is to get babies' attentions, which is the whole point to create something for babies.
At least, That's what I thought.
